It’s hard to believe we are almost at the end of October! Here’s what’s happening for FPC families!

This Sunday
Join us for some Halloween fun! Children of all ages are invited to wear their costumes to church! We will meet in the back of the Life Center at 10am. (Please be mindful that Rejoice may still be going if you come in much before 10.) From there, we will make our way through the church stopping several times along the way to receive treats from nursery staff, adult classes, pastors, and more! We will end on the Greene Street Playground for some doughnuts!
- BRING YOUR CANDY COLLECTING BUCKETS OR BAGS!!
- **We ask that children (especially children in preschool-2nd grade) are accompanied by an adult.
- ALL participants must wear face coverings as we travel through the building.

Coming Up
KIDS CLUBS will meet again on November 7 from 4:30-5:30pm. If you missed last month, it’s not too late to sign up! You can choose form Lego, Yoga, or Preschool clubs. SIGN UP HERE.
We were so inspired by our trip to the Greater Triad Branch of the Triad Diaper Bank that we have decided to continue collecting diapers and going to the Diaper Bank once a month to help! Read more about our experience and our reasons HERE and sign up to join us on November 21st HERE!
If you have a current 3rd, 4th, or 5th grader, please consider joining us for a Passport Kids Camp Information Session via Zoom on November 4th at 8pm. It should only last about 30 minutes. We are planning to take a group to Passport Camp at Greensboro College July 11-14 2022. We already have a group of interested families and would like to have even more! **Attending the information session does not equal a commitment to attend! Just come to get more information about cost, schedules, chaperones, and answers to any questions you may have! (I will be sending out the actual Zoom link separately.)
- November 7 – Final Milestone session
- November 14 – Movie Day for Preschool-5th grade in the Biblemax Theater (CORL 305).
- November 21 – Outreach during Sunday School! We will join youth to hear about Hot Dish & Hope, create some winter care bags for Hot Dish Guests. We will also head to the Diaper Bank that afternoon. (See below for more information).
- November 28 – No Church School

Finally. . . Advent is coming! Yes – Advent!! More details to come, but mark your calendars now!
- During the Sunday School hour:
- December 5 – Family Advent Wreaths
- December 12 – Gingerbread Church
- December 19 – Journey to the Manger
We will also be sponsoring 40 immigrant and refugee children from Faith Action – Information coming out on November 15 with a quick turnaround to provide toys by December 3.
Advent outreach: We will fill the stable with different items each Sunday in December!
