Dear Families,
I hope everyone had a fantastic Halloween despite the rain! We had so much fun trick or treating around the church on Sunday! Here’s what is coming up!

This Sunday
Regular Sunday school for kids as we continue with our “Follow Jesus” unit:
- Preschool – CORL 304
- Kindergarten-2nd – CORL 301
- 3rd-5th – CORL 306
Parents: Families Growing in Faith will join our adult elective for November! “Managing Stress During the Holidays” will meet in the Solarium (near the Welcome Center).
Worship at 9am (Rejoice) or 11am Sanctuary as we observe All Saints Sunday and share communion.
**KIDS DISCIPLE CLUB meets from 3-4:30pm in the Life Center. Third-Fifth graders will study what the bible says about gratitude, make blessing bags, and play some awesome games!
**PASSPORT CAMP INFORMATION MEETING – Right before KDC, we’ll meet at 2pm in M125 to share information about Passport Kids Camp. Passport is a 4-day, 3-night faith based camp for students who have completed 3rd-6th grades. We will be attending the session at Brevard College June 26-29, 2023. Come to get more information so yo ucan decide if it’s a good fit! KIDS ARE ENCOURGAGED TO ATTEND WITH YOU so they can ask questions, too! **If you want to go, first deposit is due by January 31st!

- November 13: Regular Sunday School and Worship Schedule
- November 20: Regular Sunday School; ONE WORSHIP SERVICE at 11am as we celebrate dedication/stewardship Sunday, followed by a POTLUCK LUNCH in the Life Center. Bring a side dish or dessert to share!
- November 27: No children’s Sunday School; Regular worship at 9am & 11am; Nursery care will be available
Mark your Calendars for these special Advent Activities that will all take place during the 10am Sunday school hour:
- Family Advent Wreaths & Gingerbread Church
- Journey to the Manger & Caroling
- PJ’s & movie day! (Parent Fellowship in the Life Center)
**Kindergarten & 5th graders: You should have received an email about participating in the Family Christmas Eve Service. Reminder to SIGN UP by November 30. If you did not receive the letter (emailed 10/25), please reply and I will forward you the information.

Other Notes and Info
I’m am lucky to be out of the office for a couple days this week attending a retreat for Christian educators. I’m hitting “send” on this email from my room at the retreat center. 🤪 For my “other info” this week, I thought I would share this picture of this morning’s beautiful sunrise over the mountains. I pray that you are finding some time to rest and just breathe in the midst of busy lives! Know that you are loved & cared for by your FPC family and by God!
