I hope everyone had a great Valentine’s Day filled with love (and chocolate!). As an extension of my love for you, here is the link to register for Parent’s Night Out! 😍 PNO will be on Saturday, March 4 from 5-8 pm and is open to FPC children ages infant-5th grade. The registration will prompt you to pay online and the cost is $15 per child. We will play, eat pizza, and watch “Trolls!” (Ages 2 & under will stay in the nursery.) **Spaces are limited and we will close the registration when we are full!**

This Sunday
Milestones continue!
- Preschool – Bible Superheroes – CORL 304 – Preschoolers will learn about Lydia!
- Kindergarten & First Grade- Beginner Bible – CORL 301 – Remember to bring your Family Time bibles! They will be learning about Acts & Corinthians.
- Second Grade – Communion Education – CORL 300 – Second graders will learn about the Last Supper. Last chance to sign up for roles in the Welcome to the Table Service!
- Third Grade – Worship Education – CORL 303 – Third graders will be touring worship spaces this week!
- Fourth Grade – Bible Skills – Memorial 200 (Spencer Love) – Fourth graders will continue looking at the New Testament and Acts this week.
- Fifth Grade – Catechism – CORL 306 – This week is questions 46-60, Prayer & the Lord’s Prayer.
Worship at 9am Rejoice! and 11am Sanctuary. Nursery care available from 8:45am-the conclusion of 11am worship.

Coming Up
Ash Wednesday is one week away on February 22. There will be two opportunities to worship:
- 9:30am – Come join our Weekday Preschool Chapel service in the sanctuary for a child friendly service that will include Godly Play and the imposition of ashes.
- 6pm -In the Sanctuary for a traditional Ash Wednesday service. Children are welcome, but nursery care will also be available in MLC 101 for infants-age 8. (Nursery reservations are not required, but if you do plan to come, please let me know so I can be sure to have enough caregivers on hand!)
Also in Lent, I will be offering a study group for parents of young kids on Mondays at 9:15 in CORL 306. Weekday Preschool families will be invited as well! Feel free to bring babies & toddlers with you if needed. We will meet Feb 27, March 6, 13, 20, 27, April 2. If you think you might join us, please respond to this email just so I can get a rough headcount! (Check the full church emails and website for additional Lenten groups that will be meeting!)

- Vacation Bible School and Summer Kids Disciple Club will take place July 31-August 3. If you can help, you can SIGN UP HERE. Registration for kids will open March 1. Registration is $30 per child, but parents or grandparents who volunteer to help will get a 50% discount.
**New: Mark your calendars for the First Pres Party in the Park on Saturday, April 29 from 3-5pm!!! We will celebrate the beauty of God’s colorful creation together and with neighborhood friends! Similar to Trunk or Treat, but with a SPring theme!! We’ll have trunks, treats, crafts, and much, much more. More details to come, but you will not want to miss it!

Lent is a great time for families to think about growing deeper in Faith together! With Lent just one week away, I encourage you to talk as a family and consider what you might do differently this Lenten season. What could you give up or simplify? Could you add a daily prayer practice or devotional? If you need ideas, I highly recommend Faithful Families for Lent by Traci Smith. I have a couple copies in my office if you would like to take a look!
