Sunday School
This Sunday, January 14 – No children’s Sunday School due to the long MLK weekend. Nursery care WILL be available during worship.
Nest Sunday, January 21 – Preschool-Elementary Milestones continue! We had a wonderful first Sunday of milestones and are so excited to keep the momentum going!
- Preschool – CORL 304 – Bible Superheroes (Jonah)
- Kindergarten & 1st – Beginner Bible – CORL 301 – One Special Book (Genesis & Exodus)
- 2nd Grade– Communion Education – CORL 300 – Remembering Our Baptism – Newton Cowan will join – **Parents are invited to attend and bring a memento from your child’s baptism (picture, gown, certificate, etc.)
- 3rd Grade – Worship Education – CORL 303 – Our Plan for Worship
- 4th Grade– Bible Skills – Memorial 200 (Spencer Love) – The Bible is a Special Library
- 5th Grade– Catechism – CORL 306 -Covenant & Ten Commandments
*Two worship services each of these Sundays – Rejoice at 9am and Sanctuary at 11am.

- January 28 – No Milestones due to Women’s’ Retreat Weekend
- February 4 – Milestones continue; KDC from 3-4:30 at FPC; Phae Smith, our new Associate for Children & Youth will be here! 🎉
- February 11 – Milestones Continue; SouperBowl Lunch after 11am worship
- February 24 – Save the date for Parent’s Night Out! 5-8pm, children will play, eat pizza, and watch Toy Story! Official registration coming in February.
Also coming up:
- **NEW** – Lenten Dinner & Devotions – In February & March, join us on Wednesday evenings for a meal and simple Lenten Devotions! Meals will be served from 5:15-6:30; Devotion will take place at 6pm. Online reservations will be required by the Monday prior an dlink will be available next week. Adults (age 12+) are $10, Kids ages 6-11 are $6; Ages 5 & under are free; Family max of $30.
- **NEW** – First Families – Lorie Jones is spearheading a plan for FPC families to gather in the evenings on the first Friday of the month in member homes beginning on Feb. 2! More info to come soon, but go ahead & mark you calendars!

Other Notes and Info
Two notes about SUMMER! 🌞
#1- Current 3rd-6th graders are eligible to attend Passport Kids Camp! Current 5th graders can attend Middle School Montreat Conference at Maryville College! Registration for both of these is due by January 31! Find registration links HERE. If you have questions, please reach out!
#2 – I have already gotten some questions about Vacation Bible School/Summer Kids Disciple Club! The dates for VBS/KDC are July 29-August 1. Theme reveal will be coming soon and registration will open in March! Stay tuned! 🙂
