Congregational Meeting
The Session has called this meeting on Sunday, April 16, to hear a report from the Associate Pastor for Outreach Nominating Committee. The meeting will begin on Zoom at 5 pm. An email with the link will be sent that afternoon.
Planning Your 4th Quarter
A series of seminars on things to consider to make the most of our later years. For anyone, come to all or ones you most need. Topics for April are What is the 4th Quarter? (April 12, RSVP by April 7) and Estate Planning (April 26, RSVP by April 21). 5 pm in the Garden Room. RSVP to Debby Foster, email or call 336-478-4702. Later in the series, Medical Decision Making & Hospice vs Palliative Care on May 10, Living Options as you Age: Pros & Cons on May 24, Planning Your Funeral & Writing Your Obituary on June 7, and Unfinished Family Business on June 21.
Men’s Food & Fellowship
Join us on April 22 for breakfast and inspiring stories about Transformation! from our member Bill Pinckard and Anthony Bass from StepUp Greensboro. 8:30-10 in the Life Center. RSVP by April 20 to Debby Foster, email or call 336-478-4702.
Everyone & your friends are invited to celebrate the beauty of God’s colorful creation! April 29, 3-5 pm in front of the sanctuary. Kids encouraged to wear a colorful wacky, tacky outfit! Decorated trunks where volunteers will hand out candy (Sign up to decorate your car!), craft/art stations, snow cones, face painting and more!
Earth Day Earth Care Celebration
Expand the ways you can Refuse, Reuse, Reduce, and Recycle with leaders from Beyond Plastics Greensboro, Solar Power Now, Deep Roots Market, and City of Greensboro recycling. April 30, 9 am – 1 pm in the Welcome Center.

- Wipe & Diaper Shower: Let’s help our Afghan refugee friends as they prepare for their new baby! Mohammad and Wahzma will welcome their third son toward the end of April. A hearty supply of wipes and diapers (sizes Newborn to 6 months) would be a tremendous blessing for them. Please drop these items in the wagon in the Welcome Center. They’re grateful for the support and generosity from FPC!
- Hygiene & clean-up kits: Help people who are homeless or dealing with disaster by donating Hygiene Kits and Emergency Cleanup Buckets for Church World Service. Outreach is collecting kits in April and May. Find the list and directions here (do not include the processing fee.) ! Leave in the red wagons around the church. Thank you!
