ABOUT WPC

The center was established in 1946 with one class of kindergartners. We have grown to serve 120 children ages 2 months through Pre-K.

Research tells us that young children learn best through play, hands-on activities, and positive interactions with those around them. Our faculty of 22 educated, experienced, and caring teachers create learning experiences for the ages and stages of our students. We have an inclusive, respectful environment and welcome diversity in culture, religion, race, gender, and ability.

We strive to provide the highest quality childhood program in Greensboro. We are proud to have earned accreditation from the National Association for the Education of Young Children.
