Doug McLeroy served thirty years as a Chaplain in the United States Army and fifteen years as a pastor in various churches. He most recently retired as pastor of the First Presbyterian Church in Reidsville in 2016.
Doug received his bachelor’s degree in history from Georgia State University in Atlanta. He earned a Master of Divinity degree in Pastoral Ministry from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, a Master of Theology degree in Pastoral Counseling from Columbia Theological Seminary, and a Doctor of Ministry degree in Pastoral Care and Counseling from Southern Methodist University. He is also a Clinical Member of the American Association of Marriage and Family Therapists and a Fellow in the American Association of Pastoral Counselors.
