This Sunday
We will begin our new Sunday School unit, Follow Jesus, as part of the Follow Me curriculum we are using this fall.
- Preschool – CORL 304
- Kindergarten-2nd – CORL 301
- 3rd-5th – CORL 306
- Families Growing in Faith (for Parents of all ages) – Back of the Life Center
Worship services at 9am (Rejoice!) and 11am (Sanctuary). Nursery care is available during worship and the Sunday School hour.

Coming Up
Next Sunday, October 30 – Trick or Treating!! Children ages 3 years-5th grade are invited to wear their costumes and meet at the back of the Life Center at 10am for Trick or Treating! We will travel through the church buildings to visit adult classes, choir rehearsal, and more! Bring your buckets!! We will end on the Greene Street Playground for doughnuts and parents should pick up there by 10:50. Nursery staff, other FPC staff, and volunteers will be helping me supervise the kiddos! 😊 **Children under 3 are welcome to join us, but should have and adult accompany them.
November 6 – Kids Disciple Club for 3rd-5th graders– **LIFE CENTER** (This is a location change due to the large group we had last time!) – At our last KDC, the kids requested that we make Blessing Bags for them to keep in their cars to offer homeless people they encounter around town. If your child plans to attend KDC on Nov. 6, PLEASE CONSIDER SIGNING UP TO HELP PROVIDE SUPPLIES FOR THE BAGS – CLICK HERE.
Do you have a current 3rd, 4th, or 5th grader?? Please consider letting them join us for Passport Kids Camp 2023! Passport Kids Camp is a 4-day, 3-night faith based camp for current 3rd-5th graders. We will be attending the session at Brevard College June 26-29. FPC staff & volunteers will chaperone. SIGN UP to attend an interest/information session to get more details!

- December 11 – Journey to the Manger with caroling
- December 18 – PJ & Movie Day (for the kids) – Parent Fellowship Time
**Planning ahead for summer?!?! Mark your calendars for these dates:
- June 26-29 –Passport Kids Camp @ Brevard College – Passport Kids Camp is a 4-day, 3-night faith based camp for current 3rd-5th graders. FPC staff & volunteers will chaperone. SIGN UP to attend an interest/information session to get more details!
- July 31-August 3 – VBS/KDC – VBS is for rising threes-rising 2nd graders. KDC runs parallel and is for rising 3rd-5th graders. Lots more information coming in early 2023, but I wanted you to have the dates NOW!
- August 7-8 – Rising 6th graders (current 5th graders) ONLY to Great Wolf Lodge. This is an FPC tradition to welcome rising 6th graders to youth group!

Other Notes and Info
Looking for a night out? Snag a sitter and join FPC pastors and others for Pop Up theology tomorrow night, Thursday, October 20 at 6pm at South End Brewing (117B Lewis Street). The discussion and company are free! Food and beverages on your own.
