Happy New Year!! I hope you all had a joyful Christmas and a restful new year! We are back in full swing and there is A LOT happening!
**IMPORTANT: If you plan for your children to attend Passport Kids Camp this summer, please note that registration and deposit are due by JANUARY 31. Passport is a camp for current 3rd-6th graders and we will attend the session at Brevard College June 26-29th. FPC must make non-refundable deposits to Passport by Feb. 1 in order to hold our slots and we cannot make those deposits if we do have have a “quorum” of participants committed to going. If you register and the trip does not “make,” you will receive a refund. Otherwise, your deposits are non-refundable. If you have questions, please reach out! CLICK HERE to register and pay.

This Sunday
Preschool & Elementary milestones begin at 10am!
- Preschool – Bible Superheroes – CORL 304
- Kindergarten & First Grade- Beginner Bible – CORL 301 – **Parents are invited to attend this session for breakfast and gift presentations. First graders who received a Family Time Bible last year should bring the bible with. If you did not receive on last year, please let me know and I will have one for you on Sunday! Kindergarteners will receive one on Sunday.
- Second Grade – Communion Education – CORL 300 – Parents are encouraged to attend this introductory session with their children.
- Third Grade – Worship Education – CORL 303
- Fourth Grade – Bible Skills – Memorial 200 (Spencer Love) – Parents are encouraged to attend this session with their children. Jill duffield will be resenting the students with a bible.
- Fifth Grade – Catechism – CORL 306
Worship services at 9am (Rejoice!) and 11am (Sanctuary). Nursery care available beginning at 8:45!
**Doughnuts are coming back! There will be doughnuts and coffee available in the Life Center from 8:30-9am before the Rejoice service. **Note: the doughnuts will be removed when the worship service begins so they are not distracting during worship.
Also this Sunday, Kids Disciple Club for 3rd-5th graders will meet from 3-4:30 pm in the Life Center! We will make some new year treats for our Weekday Preschool staff, talk about Epiphany, and search for the Wise Men’s Gold- escape room style!! Please come join the fun!

Coming Up
- Next Sunday, January 15 – No sunday school, but worship and nursery will take place as normally scheduled.
- Milestones continue on Jan. 22, 29, Feb. 5, 12, 29, & 26
Mark your calendars!
- February 12 – FPC youth will be hosting the SouperBowl of Caring! Come to the Life Center after 11am worship to enjoy a bowl of soup and fellowship while supporting our youth!
- March 4 – Parents’ Night Out is back!! 5-8pm. More details and registration coming in February.

Other Notes and Info
Please consider registering for the Men’s & Women’s retreats on January 21st!
- Men’s Retreat is from 8:30-10am and is FREE! Just need a headcount for food, so register HERE.
- Women’s retreat is from 9am-3pm and includes lunch. Cost is $25. Register HERE.
**Since the retreats overlap, FREE child care will be offered from 8:30-10:30am so that both parents can attend their respective retreats! Please indicate your need for child care on your registration form.
