This Sunday
Join us for our Journey to the Manger! We will meet in the back of the Life Center at 10am. Then, we will travel around the building to collect our nativity friends as we read scripture and sing Christmas carols. We will end back in the Life Center to assemble the giant nativity scene and have some cookies! **Parents are asked to attend with the children – we will need some assistance transporting the large nativity figure on our journey!
Worship services at 9am (Rejoice!) and 11am (Sanctuary). Nursery care available.

Coming Up
December 18 – Pajama and movie day! Kids and youth are invited to come to church in your pj’s! We’ll meet in CORL 305 at 10am for a Christmas movie and popcorn! Parents will have time to take a breath in this busy season as you gather in the Life Center for fellowship and refreshments.
Christmas Eve – Family Nativity service at 10am. Candlelight & communion services at 5:30 & 11pm. No nursery care will be provided, but children of all ages are welcome in the sanctuary!
**Kindergarten and 5th grade families who signed up to participate in the nativity service should have received and email from me on Monday. If you did not please let me know.
**If there are any FIRST GRADERS who did not previously participate and would like to do so this year, we have room for some additional shepherds & angels! Please let me know by end of day tomorrow (12/8). Note: There is a mandatory rehearsal at 10am on Dec. 23.
Christmas Day & New Year’s Day– On each of these Sundays, there will be ONE worship service in the sanctuary at 10am with coffee fellowship beforehand in Virginia Gilmer at 9:30. No nursery care provided & no Sunday school classes will meet.

Other Notes and Info
Yesterday, all preschool-elementary families (ages 3-5th grade), should have received an email from me regarding our upcoming milestone classes that will take place in January-February. If you did not receive the appropriate notes, please let me know! We are still looking for some leadership in a few of the classes. These important series will begin on January 8! Please read over the grade specific letters and make note of extra important dates for your child’s specific class!
