The conversation continues
Let's continue the God Talks discussion we had with Fred Bahnson May 2 by studying his book, "Soil and Sacrament: A Spiritual Memoir of Food and Faith," in May:
◆ Sunday, May 19, 9:30-10:20 am in the Blair Hagan Room behind Memorial Chapel.
◆ Wednesday, May 22, 6:30-8 pm in Main 125 beneath the Sanctuary.
Church staff members will lead these discussions. Fred is director of Wake Forest Divinity School's Food, Health, and Ecological Well-Being Program. Fred’s research and teaching focus on the intersection of ecology, sustainable agriculture, and contemplative spirituality.
At this year's God Talks, Fred joined Lena Van Wyk, farm director at New Garden Park, a regenerative farming ministry of Church of the Redeemer in Greensboro, and Jesse James DeConto, journalist, activist and musician.
