These Bricks & Mortar Matter
Our 200-year-old faith community has filled this sanctuary with prayers, music, and the word of the Lord for almost 100 years, and infinite acts of caring have been planned and carried out across the campus and the Greensboro community. This campaign is an act of stewardship for our sacred space and a commitment to those who will bring their faith to life here for years to come.
Where We Are
Several smaller repairs, such as replacing elevator controls and updating wireless access points, are complete. The major project, tuckpointing the brick on the sanctuary and Smith Building, is expected to begin late summer or early fall. A schedule for this work should be available soon.
Community Outreach
The campaign is donating $560,000 to Habitat for Humanity of Greater Greensboro and $240,000 to the Family Success Center of the United Way of Greater Greensboro. Each has received two of five installments.
