Here are our ongoing youth events each week during the school year:
Presbyterian Prayer Partners at Panera is a program for Senior High youth that meets on Thursday mornings at the Panera on Lawndale. We meet at 7:15 a.m. and have some food and fellowship time. At 7:45 a.m. we have announcements and devotion. We are finished by 8 a.m. so folks can get to school on time. If you need rides to school, they can be arranged through Scott Brown (sbrown@fpcgreensboro.org or 478-4727) with 24 hours notice.
Middle School Faith Exploration meets at 9:30 a.m. on Sunday mornings in Shetler 109. This year, they exploring the scriptures of the New Testament. It is an engaging program that challenges our young people to explore their faith through many different ways, including art, stories and games. We are finished by 10:20 a.m.
Senior High Faith Exploration meets on Sunday mornings in Shetler 304. This year, we are changing the format. We will start with intentional fellowship time at 9:30 a.m. Then around 10 a.m., we will start the exploration of our faith through the Nooma videos with Rob Bell and through the Wired Word curriculum which applies our faith to current events in the world. We are finished by 10:20 a.m.
Presbyterian Youth Connection (PYC) is our Sunday night program. We meet at 5:30 p.m. for program and end with dinner at 6:50 p.m. (Please bring $5 to help with the cost of dinner each week.) Parents can pick kids up at 7:30 p.m. We have separate Senior High and Middle School groups that meet simultaneously.
