More about worship
From helping the pastor keep track of phone numbers to parking cars, FPC members have dozens of ways to help each other fully experience worship each Sunday. Volunteers often are needed to keep these ministries running smoothly.
Greeter guides help visitors, and members, find their way around the church campus on Sunday mornings. They're a welcoming face for anyone who approaches our doors.
Ushers and door greeters help members find a seat before worship, and ushers collect offering during worship.
Older members can drive to the church door and allow a church member to park their car. After worship, volunteers return the car to the church door.
Pastor's aides help the pastor keep track of names, phone numbers and prayer concerns as worshipers exit the sanctuary.
Lay readers help lead worship by reading one of the service's Scripture lessons before the sermon.
Children prepare the sanctuary for worship each Sunday by lighting the candles on the chancel.
