FPC's Susan Midgett will swim from Alcatraz this summer in hopes of raising $100,000 so that children at Espwa orphanage in Haiti can have better medical care. Learn more about Susan's quest, and learn how you can help!
As growing disciples it becomes ever clearer that we must continue the work of Jesus in this world. For First Presbyterian Church, providing the place, the programming and the personnel to do this work requires money.
Paisley Heritage Fellowship offers a continuing encouragement to our church members to remember the church in their wills.
Fellowship member David Flynt shared his thoughts about pledging resources toward FPC's future:
The two most important aspects of my life on earth are my family and First Presbyterian. When one is doing their estate planning why would they not remember what meant the most to them during their earthly life? We have all heard it said that no matter what, one can never repay a parent for all they have done for us. I feel the same way about First Presbyterian. It may be a small gesture but an important one for me, to include the church in my will. I really can not understand why everyone does not feel the same way. We owe it to those that follow us. – David Flynt
