You can help our efforts to connect resources with people who need them, especially if you have a used car you no longer need or furniture you can donate. FPC member Larry Bowden coordinates our Wheels to Work program, which accepts used cars and gives them to working families in need. The Barnabas Furniture Ministry accepts used but in-good-shape furniture, which it donates to families who need it. And every Sunday, everyone is encouraged to bring cans of food to church, which we donate to Greensboro Urban Ministry's food pantry.
About four weeks each year, we convert the Memorial Building into a temporary home for families in transition through our partnership with Guilford Interfaith Hospitality Network. This project depends on volunteers to help serve meals, to spend the night at the church and to help our guests get familiar with a new setting.
