Join our instrumental ensemble

Did you play an instrument growing up? Then FPC's instrumental ensemble needs your talent! This musical opportunity is for ANYONE that ever played in band or orchestra. We don’t care if it was 50 years ago - or even if you are in middle school band right now! All ages are invited to participate! Dust off your instrument and come join us. This is purely for the love of playing! To sign up (or for more information), please call or email Liz Doebler, 478-4711, ldoebler@fpcgreensboro.org.

The ensemble meets Tuesday evenings between April 13 and May 11 from 7 to 7:45 p.m. in Smith 201, the Garrison Room. We'll play at the Wednesday Night Dinner on May 12.

About music at FPC

Music occupies a prominent place in worship. FPC’s Ministry of Music is dedicated to providing quality musical experiences for all members.

Through psalms, hymns and spiritual songs, voices and instruments are lifted in praise to God. By participating and listening during worship, the entire congregation can contribute to the worship of God through music.

FPC's Ministry of music offers many ways to participate. For adults, there is the Chancel Choir, as well as a special Summer Choir that participates in worship during the summer months; and two Handbell Choirs for different skill levels.

For children there is the Cherub Choir, Credo Choir, and Canticle Choirs; and a Handbell Choir as well. Middle school and senior high students can join the Cantus Youth Choir.

To learn more about how you can get involved, please contact Liz Doebler, 478-4711 or ldoebler@fpcgreensboro.org.
