

Chancel Choir

The 65-voice Chancel Choir provides musical leadership for worship services September thourgh May. In addition to Sunday worship, the Chancel Choir sings for special services such as A Festival of Lessons and Carols, Good Friday Service of Tenebrae, Reformation Sunday and All Saints’ Day. The choir has two recordings available in the Music Office: Love Came Down at Christmas and Sing Praises Old and New. Rehearsals are 6-7:30 p.m. Wednesdays.
This intergenerational group is for ANYONE who ever played in band or orchestra! We don’t care if it was 50 years ago – or even if you are in middle school band right now! The ensemble meets on Tuesdays from 7 to 7:45 p.m. between Oct. 5 and Nov. 9. We'll play Nov. 10 at the Wednesday evening fellowship meal.
During June and August, a Summer Choir is offered for those who have always desired to sing in the choir but are often too busy. Many singers in the Chancel Choir continue to join their voices with the Summer Choir. Rehearsals are held at 9:30 a.m. Sundays.
An adult handbell choir for beginners/intermediate adults, Westminster Ringers rehearses on Mondays (4:15 to 5:15 p.m., September-May). This choir participates in worship throughout the year.
An advanced handbell choir for adults, Coventry Ringers rehearses on Tuesdays (5:45 to 7 p.m., September-May). They participate in worship throughout the year.
