Students, please have your parents or guardians print and fill out this permission form, then return it to Rachel in the church office.

Sunday morning small groups

9:30 am Sundays with a fellowship gathering for youth in Memorial 300 followed by small-group studies.

On Sept. 17, we start a six-week series: Can I ask that?

Sunday evening youth groups 

Middle School meets 5:30-7 pm

High School meets 6:30-8 pm. 

Dinner together 6:30-7 pm; bring $5 for the meal.

Breakfast

Middle School Youth meet at 7:20 am the second Wednesday of each month at Chick-fil-a on Pisgah Church Road.

High School Youth meet at 7:20 pm Tuesdays at Panera on Pisgah Church Road.

NOTE: Parents are responsible for drop off and carpooling kids to school.

 

New this fall: Above the rim

above the rim

Beginning Monday, Oct. 9: Above the Rim, a new youth program for guys! Join us for Bible study and half-court basketball! Meets Mondays 7:30-8:30 pm through May in Mullin Life Center, except for Oct. 16 and Nov. 13 (when other events are scheduled for the space).

Confirmation retreat

Eighth-graders have a Confirmation retreat in the spring of 2018 (re-scheduled from November). INFO; 336-478-4723, kmurray@fpcgreensboro.org.

Broomball and overnight

Dec. 21. What is Broomball? Think of it as less-violent hockey, with broomsticks, a soccerball, and sneakers instead of skates. Arrive at FPC at 7 pm with a broom, tennis shoes, layered clothing for warmth,and a sleeping bag or air mattress. Pick up at 8 am. $30, RSVP by Dec. 12.

Looking toward summer 2018

June 17-23 – High School Mission Trip (Philadelphia) through Center for Student Missions. Cost is $600 per student. Adults wanting to attend need to contact Kevin directly, kmurray@fpcgreensboro.org. For students who have completed grades 9-12. Focus of this trip is urban poverty, housing, and food. First deposit ($100) due by Jan. 20. Online registration coming soon.

July 9-14 – Middle School Mission Trip (Greenville, S.C.) through Passport Missions, staying at Furman University, focus is on urban renewal and community partnerships. Cost is $500 per student. Adults wanting to attend need to contact Kevin directly, kmurray@fpcgreensboro.org. For students who have completed grades 6-8. First deposit ($100) due by Jan. 20. Online registration coming soon.

July 15-21 – Montreat Youth Conference. Focus is on growth – spiritual and group growth. Cost is $400 per student. For students who have completed grades 9-12. First deposit ($100) due by Dec. 20. Online registration coming soon.
