Jan. 27, 2012 —Two Down

When I say "Duke" and "Carolina," what comes to mind? For the ACC faithful, it might be “Florida State.”  Now, the Seminoles were picked to finish third in the conference this season, but after a shaky start no one expected this:
•        Blowing out North Carolina by 33 points in Tallahassee
•        Beating Duke by 3 at Cameron Indoor Stadium

So what in the world is going on? Well, ACC basketball, like life, is unpredictable.  You win some, you lose some. But year-in and year-out, the foundation for success is the coach–­a reminder that you and I can expect to be at the bottom of the league unless we have a really good spiritual coach.
