Jan. 15, 2010 — Great ideas
In January of 1914, auto maker Henry Ford announced the latest advance in assembly line production. His continuous motion method of manufacturing reduced the assembly time of a car from 12½ hours to a mere 93 minutes.
Ford also tried marketing a car made of plastic. That plan fell flat. Well the world is full of ideas – innovations good and bad; sure-fire hits and miserable failures.
But the best ideas, the ones concerning how to live and love, how to treat your neighbor, and how to trust your God are as old as time and as close as the Bible.
So if we are looking for some good ideas for how to live and love, we know where to find them.
Just a thought. I'm Sid Batts from First Presbyterian Church in downtown Greensboro, fpcgreensboro.org.
