Dec. 15, 2009 — Amen, brothers

Chances are you’ve heard about the Jonas  Brothers – Nick, Joe and Kevin. Among other things, they’re young, talented, and they sing.

Sometimes people ask them, “What’s different about you?” Kevin, the oldest brother, says, “Well, we’re Christians, and we love the Lord.  This is who we are and let’s just go for it!”

Well, in today’s world many of us are reluctant to say what we believe and feel uncomfortable speaking up.

But it seems to me that it’s what we believe that makes us who we are. Authenticity comes from matching who we are on the inside with who we are on the outside.  Both our words and our actions say who we are.

So, let’s just go for it!
