All God’s Critters illustrates the song "All God’s Critters Got a Place in the Choir." The funny and fun illustrations will have children singing along with glee.

U Is for Undertow is Sue Grafton’s latest novel where the title begins with a letter of the alphabet. Grafton’s novels are popular with FPC readers, and Currie Library has numerous copies of her previous novels.

Longing for God: Seven Paths of Christian Devotion by Richard Foster is a resource that can help make you more open to God’s Spirit.

Dewey, There’s a Cat in the Library is based on a true story about a baby kitten found in the book-drop slot of a library. When the librarian finds him, she names him Dewey (after the Dewey Decimal System) and welcomes him in to stay in the library.

Congratulations, Mel

We are delighted to learn that Mel Bringle was awarded the Regan Award at St. Andrews Presbyterian College on Feb. 4. It honored her work on the hymnal committee and as a hymn writer, worship leader, scholar and church leader.

On Feb. 18 Mel received Emory University’s Alumna Unsung Heroine Award. This award recognizes women who have made great contributions to the lives of women and girls through their lives and careers.

Mel, who grew up in FPC, has written three books that we have in Currie Library.
