At First Presbyterian Church we honor the many different ways to worship. During the school year, we hold three worship services, each with its own flavor of music and formality, while still connecting you with the same message.
Lent is a special time for spiritual growth beginning on Ash Wednesday, March 5, and culminating with Easter Sunday, April 20. This year at First Presbyterian, we're journeying within, from ashes to spiritual practice to finding God's presence.
An important role all churches in a community is to care for those in need. At FPC, there are outreach opportunities for all ages and gifts. From Kids Disciple Club, to youth and adult mission trips, to FPCjobs and Hot Dish & Hope, we serve locally and globally.
This month, work is under way in our Giving Back Garden, where we are growing food for people in our community who need help providing nutritious meals. We invite Church School classes, small groups, families, friends, etc., to Adopt-A-Plot!
It is equally important, when our own members are in need of care, that the community of the church is present. Our Congregational Care ministry is not only composed of our clergy, but all within the congregation, who provide support services where needed.
We are committed to providing a church environment that is safe for children and youth and that will protect them from any abuse when they are involved in church-related activities.

We think of ourselves as a church of and for growing disciples. That means that our 2,800 or so members are at many places on our spiritual journeys. No matter what are you seeking, we offer a community of seekers with someone at your stage of life and spiritual development. Our Discipleship ministry offers Explore FPC for anyone interested in becoming a member.
Each Sunday morning, our faith community comes together to learn, grow and worship together. You are invited to join us. Get directions, a map, parking suggestions, and find out where to go when you get here. We look forward to seeing you.
