Presbyterians trace their history to the 16th century and the Protestant Reformation. Our heritage, and much of what we believe, began with John Calvin (1509-1564), whose writings crystallized much of the Reformed thinking that came before him. Learn more»

Weddings at First Presbyterian Church

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding! Marriage is certainly one of the most important decisions you will make in your lifetime. We in the church look forward to sharing in your celebration.

The wedding service is the worship component of your marriage. All the significant milestones in our life take place in church and are marked by ceremony and ritual: baptism, confirmation, marriage, and death. By choosing to have your wedding in the church, you are signifying that your wedding day is a spiritual event in the context of the Christian community.

What a meaningful day!
