Sponsor a child at Espwa

It's time to renew our support for Espwa, the children's home in Haiti, by sponsoring a child. This year we are asking for a donation of $250 a year to cover some basic needs for one child. Learn more.

Dinner returns Sept. 1 with Beach Bash/Play Ball!

 

Our weekly Wednesday evening dinners return from summer break on Sept. 1 with a special night of beach fun and music, and a trip over to NewBridge Bank Park for the Grasshoppers game.

 

Here's the schedule of events:

 

5 to 6:30 p.m. -- BEACH FUN & MUSIC

We'll have dinner in the Life Center, games and prizes for the kids, face painting/"go fish" game and a shag dance demonstration and lessons available for anyone who wants to give it a try.

 

Sign-up, costs for dinner

Dinner is $8 for adults, $4 for children 6 to 12 and free for children 5 and younger. The family maximum is $22. To make reservations, please call 478-4747, e-mail reservations@fpcgreensboro.org, or use this form.

 

6:30 p.m. until -- GRASSHOPPERS GAME

(optional)

After dinner everyone is invited to the Greensboro Grasshoppers game. We'll have reserved group seating. Children can enjoy the ballpark's great playground!

 

Sign-up, costs for baseball game

Admission is $6.50 for adults and $5 for children (age 5-12) and seniors (age 62 and older). Sign up at church on Sundays in August at either 10:30 a.m. worship service. You can pay by check (made to Kelly Seymour) or cash (please have correct change). If you're not at church, you can mail your check to FPC, Attn: Kelly Seymour, 617 N Elm St, Greensboro, NC 27401. While you're signing up for baseball you can also make your dinner reservation and then pay for dinner at the door on Sept. 1.
